A new pipe inside the old one.
For drains plagued by persistent or past problems, relining avoids the disruption of digging them up and replacing them. Even severe defects, cracks, fractures, holes and displaced joints, can be remedied from inside the pipe.
A resin-impregnated liner is inverted or pulled into the damaged section and cured in place, leaving a smooth, jointless pipe inside the original. Flow improves, roots have nowhere to get in, and the ground above is never opened. As certified installers of Pipe Doctor no-dig repairs we bring expertise and precision to every project.
What we repair
- Cracked and fractured clay or concrete pipes
- Displaced and open joints
- Root ingress points
- Holes and lost sections
- Defective connections and chambers
Why no-dig
Less disruption to homes, businesses and traffic, which makes it ideal in built-up areas. Lower cost, because there is no excavation, reinstatement or pipe replacement. Faster, usually a day rather than a week. And a smaller environmental footprint, with no spoil and no risk of pollution from an open trench.

How it works
How a relining job works.
Survey
Camera footage confirms the defect, its size and its position.
Prepare
The pipe is jetted and, if needed, cut back so the liner bonds cleanly.
Line
The resin liner is installed through the chamber and cured in place.
Prove
A final camera pass records the finished repair for your file.

How much does relining cost compared with digging?
Usually a fraction, because there is no excavation, no skip, no reinstatement of the drive or floor, and one day on site instead of a week. We price it from the survey footage.
How long does a liner last?
Decades. A cured liner is a structural pipe in its own right, with no joints for roots to find.
Can you reline under a house or extension?
Yes. That is exactly where it earns its keep, because digging would mean taking up floors.
Do I need a survey first?
Yes. We need to see the defect, its length and its position to size the liner and to prove the repair afterwards.
